Spring is here, so I thought I’d quickly update on plans for the year.

At this moment, I’m nearing the final chapter of the last Intimate Ships book, The Runechildren. It’s shaping out really great, and I’ve been itching to get the climax onto the page for a solid year now. That’ll wrap up the series until I begin work on the final Lonely Ship book, working title ‘Marcus Invincible‘, some time in the Summer.

Once drafting is done, I’ll be going back and starting over from Lonely Ship 1. Posting quotes every day on social media has been a real joy, with some really interesting engagement with followers, but it’s also forced me to take notice of some formatting and sentence structure choices that I made in my early days that I wouldn’t make now.

Going over the whole series again from the beginning will let me update formatting to a more consistent level. It’ll also get rid of the last few errors. Anyone with a copy of any of the Lonely Ship series should look to redownload once Intimate Ships comes out to refresh their version.

As for short stories, I have April’s ready to start. It’s called Church of the Rod, and it’s going to be quick and fun. After that one comes out, I’ll have been writing short stories monthly for a full year. I’ll be taking a break to work on other stuff for a while, hopefully coming back in the Autumn with Laymen, a serial bureacratic/erotic fantasy.

Feel free to keep asking your questions, and stay in touch! Take care!
