Author of SF and Fantasy erotica

I’ve just polished off book one of the next in the Lonely Ship series, and I’m really pleased with it! The Intimate Ships of the Forge, book one, The Black Husk! It’s another horny space adventure, this time with a tighter cast of familiar faces.

I won’t risk giving a release date yet. What ended up happening with Lonely Ship was that I wrote the whole thing all as one story, then split it up to make publishing easier. That was super helpful, since I could go back and edit the whole thing to make sure it was decently consistent.

I’m writing Intimate Ships as a trilogy this time, but I’d love the chance to do all three books in one go if I can. I know what’s going to happen in each book, but there’s still space for flex as we go. If that happens, and that wouldn’t be a bad thing, I’ll need to go back to the start and make sure it all rhymes before letting it out into the wild. Since I’m not hearing a clamour for a sequel to Lonely Ship (this has always been a self-serving endeavour first and foremost!), I reckon I can take my time!

In the meantime, lots of stuff is happening. I’m going to keep up with one horny short story every month, and I have September’s ready to go already. It’s an interesting one. I was trying something that wasn’t what I thought I was into. I can get started on October’s now, too.

Then there’s November. Not only am I expecting my first-born, but it’s also NaNoWriMo! Since I’ll be off work and sleeping weird, I’m hoping those two events will synergise!

My NaNoWriMo project is almost certainly titled The Path of Lyssa in the Shadow of the Dark Lord. It’s a grim fantasy, hero’s journey sort of story focussing on a woman with amnesia and a dark, saucy form of magic. I’ll be pushing my own boundaries with it, so eager for feedback.

In the meantime, I might get stuck into Intimate Ships 2, titled The Rune Carrier. In any case, I’m gonna stick with it!
