I do have plans for two additional installments in the ongoing story. Both have been planned out and I’m keen to get started on the actual writing. But you’ll have to forgive me if I hold off until seeing how Lonely Ship fares on the marketplace before setting a timeframe.
After Lonely Ship, we’d have The Intimate Ships of the Forge, which takes place six months into the future. It would mostly deal with the ramifactions of the previous installment’s finale, as well as the return home to a war-torn Accord galaxy.
Then, to draw everything to a close, we’d have one more story. I don’t have a name yet, but it would take place (predictably) five years after Lonely Ship and would be a tense battle against inescapable destiny. Then we’re done. There really is no scope for anything after the ending I have planned.
I’m hoping that’s as exciting a proposal for any readers as it is for me. Honestly, writing this story has been an absolute blast. I’ve developed as a writer and I’ve learned a great deal about myself. It meant a lot to me to write this. I’m excited to see if anyone gets a kick out of reading it.
